The apartments at Alinga Longa are a great family accommodation option.. You will experience the relaxing atmosphere and unwind ready to enjoy all that Bright & it surrounds has to offer. Situated in a quiet complex of six apartments, The apartments are very well presented and recently re-decorated with full kitchen, dining and lounge area. There’s a great courtyard out back and a sunny deck in front to sit with a coffee.
You can even bring the pooch along when staying at Alinga Longa Apartments 2,3 and 6. Strict conditions and fees apply.
Apartments 3 and 6 have wheelchair accessibility.
Beyond the apartments there’s a great outdoor area which includes an undercover BBQ area, in-ground pool, shady trees and lawns. From the rear of the property there is direct access onto the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. There is also a shared laundry available.

Rothery House is circled by a classic Australian veranda and shaded by a magnificent old Lynden tree. It is right in the centre of the town only metres from shops, local pubs and restaurants. Rothery House has been perfectly restored with great attention to historic detail, with a few thoughtful modern upgrades to give you all the comforts of home. The living area is spacious, yet oh so cosy - who doesn’t love an open fire. The kitchen is modern but with rustic wooden benchtops and professional series kitchen appliances. Includes dishwasher, electric kettle and all the cookware necessary to make a gourmet meal. There's 2 bathrooms, the main bathroom includes a very large shower and luxurious bathtub. Four bedrooms tucked away, each bed with high quality double cushion covered mattresses and fitted with electric blankets. You honestly won’t want to leave your bed.

The entrance hall has a wonderful gas heater which not only heats the entrance, dries all your skis and jackets, etc but also permeates to the rest of the house. The comfortable lounge is the perfect place to cuddle up in front of a roaring fire. There's two modern bathrooms tiled with showers, toilets and basins. The second also houses a washing machine and dryer.

At the eastern end of Centenary Park is an open plastic waterslide with some curves which leads from the top of the river bank into the river upstream from the swimming area and the natural themed splash park also in Centenary Park, alongside Morses Creek, promises to be a draw card for families over the warmer months.

Over 100 kilometres of sealed off road trails provides you with the perfect link between the already popular tourist villages of Wangaratta, Milawa, Beechworth, Rutherglen, Bright and Wandiligong.
Bright Brewery's Tour-and-Tasting experience is an opportunity to discover how they use craft brewing techniques to create award-winning beer. Tours run Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 3pm. Other times available by arrangement, you can also book in for a "Brewer for a Day" workshop.

Red Stag Deer and Emu Farm
Situated on a 60 acre property, bordering the Mt Buffalo National Park, in Victoria’s beautiful High Country this unique Tourist Farm offers the visitor a grand opportunity to feed, touch and learn about these majestic animals with their unique characters and instinctive behaviour. Included is an informative historical speech covering the Deer Farm, local farming in the valley and deer farming operations.

Genealogical research is also available with many photographs and records of historical significance including district scenery, local industries, people and events.

Summer is a great time to explore Mt Hotham Alpine Resort and the surrounding Alpine National Park, with a range of truly iconic tracks & trails to choose from. A variety of tracks & trails access some of Australia’s best views, unique flora and fauna and some of the region's richest history. The Hotham region has something suited to all fitness levels, age groups and interests for everyone to discover. During the green season, the Resort Management Board puts on FREE guided tours which explores the history of gold mining era.
